About the specialty
The specialty "Hotel and Restaurant Management" in Omega college offers you the opportunity for two college years and a half to get the fourth degree of specialization in the professions "Hotel manager" and "Restaurant Manager", and then you will be able to continue your education at Swiss Education Hotel and Restaurant Management Academy to get a degree of BACHELOR. For your convenience the training at Swiss Education Hotel and Restaurant Management Academy will be at the building of Omega College in Plovdiv.

For successful implementation in this highly competitive field the future hotel and restaurant managers must have flexible thinking that will help them to adapt quickly to the latest trends in the industry. The specialty "Hotel and Restaurant Management" in Omega College focuses on developing analytical thinking skills and personal management of each college student. In the training program there are subjects such as: Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hotel Services, Catering in Hotels and Restaurants, Tour Operators Activity, Additional Technology Activities and Services in Tourism, Organization and Management of the Kitchen, Sommeliering, Business Economics, Marketing and Advertising, as well as advanced study in English - terminology related to the specialty.

The main objective of the "Hotel and Restaurant Management" in Omega College is to provide to its students an European level of education. Students will study in detail the requirements and standards of hotel and restaurant management in Bulgaria and the European Union that will ensure their competitiveness in the international labor market. The program includes specific practical and theoretical studies of the technology of various types of service activities in the field of hospitality. It includes courses which develop the students' skills for furnishing and operating the facilities of the hotel and restaurant, they will know the rules of business catering, various sanitation requirements. Students will also receive a wide theoretical knowledge of the economic sphere, which will expand their opportunities for future career and improve their professional qualities. For practical training in the specialty college has organized visits of Bulgarian and foreign top - managers in the field of hospitality and the opportunity for summer internships in Bulgaria and Cyprus.
Career
After completion of the "Hotel and Restaurant Management", students will be able to realize on the labor market as managers of hotels and restaurants, staff, administrators, and to start own business.
